The Food for Families Event held Aug 3-4 at Sam’s Club was a record-breaking event! We collected over 3,300 pounds at Sam’s Club and another 940+ pounds at St. Mark. This 4,246-pound collection overloaded the box trailer and we have to make two additional pickup truck deliveries. In the Olympic theme, we shattered the collection record! Many thanks to Jeff Harris, Steve Davis, Gurney Thompson, the 13 parish members who helped and the multitude of parishoners who donated both at St. Mark and visited us at Sam’s Club.
St. Elizabeth Food Pantry operates at Pax Christi Catholic Church and is open every Friday from 10am until Noon. Donations accepted year-round and can be made conveniently at the collection box in the Narthex at St. Mark.
