Christopher ColumbusURGENT: COLORADO HOUSE BILL 18-1231 Hearing to Repeal Columbus Day as a Legal Holiday

Past State Deputy Jay Doherty makes an urgent request for any Knights free this Wednesday, February 28th to attend a Colorado House hearing at the state capitol building at 1:30 PM in Room 217.  We only need to be present in K of C shirts (no sashes, but name tags ok).  

The bill states: “A Bill for an Act-concerning the repeal of Columbus Day as a legal holiday, and in connection therewith, making Election Day a Legal holiday.”

FN Starr and FAdmiral Stauber encouraged anyone who can attend the hearing for this bill to seriously consider being present in council shirts.
